Patty DeRosa
Business Supervisor Patty DeRosa, a staff member for 18 years, oversees day-to-day operations. She’s quick with a smile and does whatever it takes to help patients, from handling insurance concerns to making hotel reservations for out-of-town clients. Originally from New York, she moved to Texas with her husband, Gary, When she’s not at the office, she enjoys sports, gardening, and hanging out with family and friends. She also loves spending time with her English bulldog, Haley.
Carol Morton
Clinical Director Carol Morton coordinates clinical services, all laboratory procedures, and expedites emergency care. With the practice for 23 years, she has established long-term relationships with many patients and enjoys seeing them year after year. She’s in charge of the continuing education curriculum for the dental auxiliaries. She also oversees quality control, infection control protocol, and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Texas State Board of Dentistry regulations. Carol and her husband, Jeff, have a beautiful golden retriever named Dakota. Carol enjoys gardening, cooking, and her cooking creations always seem to find their way into the office for all to enjoy!
Laura Maida Plympton
Dental Hygienist Laura Maida Plympton, head of the hygiene department, has been a patient favorite for 16 years. A native Houstonian, she credits her Italian heritage for the strong sense of family that infuses the caring way she treats patients. She graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. Laura has an 18-year-old daughter, Britney. She and her family have been active in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo for more than 25 years.
Christie Frazier
Treatment Counselor Christie Frazier has been part of the Schleicher team since 1992. She started as receptionist and quickly became an integral part of the office. She handles financial arrangements, coordinates insurance claims, and answers patients’ treatment questions. She also develops and updates the computerized patient education system. Christie and her husband, Mike, have a two-year-old daughter, MacKenzie, and a seven-year-old son, Garrett.
Sheree Neal
Dental Assistant Sheree Neal has been making patients feel at ease in the dental chair for more than two decades. In addition to helping patients maintain healthy, beautiful smiles, she enjoys the detailed nature of her work. When she’s not at the office, you’ll often find her at the bowling alley, perfecting her strike. She also loves spending time with her three children and two grandchildren.
